2008 was a great year in my music life, it marks 51 years of the thing
I love, since I started my music career at age 15, that makes me 65, where has the years gone?
The Lord has richly blessed me with the many talents he allowed me to have
and develope. This year has come to me with many new and lifetime friends. With all my promoter friends, has brought
a number of bookings, small and big that continues to provide the necessary funds to support me in my obligations of bills.
My new television show at West Plains, Mo will begin on April
15, it will be on channel 38 of the antena. West Plains cable 16, also on channel 98 at Salem and Viola Arkansas, and
other cable channels, I will be doing my live show from 9-10 PM each Wednesday night.
The 2009 year is swiftly going by, we have been very busy with our
group and others in concerts, Being members of the George D. Hay Society, we promote concerts monthly as a fundraiser to accomplish our goals to preserve our Ozarks history and heritage that is
the connection to the inspiration for the Grand Ole Opry. Our concerts are held on the 3rd Saturday of each month at
the Ozarks Medical Center Foundation room on Washington Avenue at West Plains, Mo. It is for the benefit of the Society and
the Harlin Museum of West Plains where we have our museum displays. Tickets, T-Shirts, and other fundraisers can be seen on

If it developes, we all are members of the George D. Hay Society at West
Plains, Mo, we will have our 3rd hall of honor induction ceremony in August 2009 here at West Plains, Mo; we will induct Jim &
Jesse, Dolly Parton, Don Warden and Redd Stewart, Dolly is one of the most poplar entertainers in the
business today, Don Warden, a West Plains native and formerly with the Porter Wagoner show, is now Dolly's manager. Redd was
one of the most poplar Grand Ole Opry stars in the 1960's, he along with Pee Wee King wrote the Tennessee Waltz, Jim &
Jesse are a long time poplar Grand Ole Opry duo. Details of the event will be posted as soon as they are worked out.
